This will depend on how far down the customer want the trapeze to sit. The customer can choose from lengths of 60mm, 100mm, 200mm, 300mm and 460mm. How far apart do we put the standoffs? To maintain a straight level run, a pair of standoffs may required to be spaced at 1.5 meter to 3 meter intervals. How to fix the ends of trapeze to the ceiling? If the run is 5 meters or less, the customer may use 2 turnbuckles at one end and fixed ends on the other end; or 2 turnbuckles at each end. If the run is 5 meters or more, the customer is recommended to use 2 turnbuckles at each end. Which cable to use and what length? If the run is 4 meter or less, the customer may use the 4mm cable. If the run is 4 meter or more, the customer is recommended to use 6mm cable. The customer should determine the length per run, two wires per run plus the lead length to connect to transformer. How many fittings can be on a trapeze run? The number of fittings is determined by the wattage of the transformer and wattage of lamps used. For example, the maximum wattage of transformer is 300VA, if using 50 watt lamps, then only 6 fittings can be used on a run. If the run becomes too long to a power connection, splitting the run into two isolated powers (i.e. to use 2 transformers, one at each end) is necessary by using insulated joiner or insulated tensioners.
