It is recommended that these are to stuck on metal material that can act as a heat sink. This is not recommended to be run at 24 hours per day, the maximum we recommend is 8 hours continuous use per day. If butting runs up in configurations like long straight runs, or rectangles especially, there will be slight differences in intensity due to voltage drop. To minimise this, we suggest using a thicker gauge cable, please consult with our sales team if you’re not sure. Any strips mounted not pointing directly up should have additional adhesive applied at intervals to aid in long term hold.
